I was posted to the Parish of Port Dufferin for three years minus one month and spent many enjoyable hours at Taylor Head. I would pick up an order of clams in Sheet Harbor and have them at a picnic table overlooking the beach at Taylor Head. If I timed it correctly I would witness some awesome sunsets in this area. Some of my guests at the rectory loved to hike the trails of the area. The water was a bit cool for swimming but in late August, one could have days that the water was quite refreshing ... have fond memories of taking my blanket and nestling in the crest of the rocks as I listened to the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks below ...
